FIRST TAKE: Sekiro Shadows Die Twice

The latest addition to the Soulsborne style of games from developers From Software, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a game that I was interested in but was also tepid towards it too. Sekiro just looked like an unknown quantity to me, I wasn’t sure what to expect and thus my I didn’t allow myself to hold too much excitement for it, but, having played the game for quite a bit my experience I can say has been colourful and fulfilling.

You think you can rub one out with that hand, be honest?

Sekiro will familiar for anyone who’s played the previous Soulsborne style games by From Software whilst also being refreshingly new and unique; I feel the most notable feature that differentiates Sekiro from prior Soulsborne games is how mobile the protagonist is as well as the open space and verticality of the environments.

It’s all in the wrist man

Playing Sekiro has opened my 3rd Eye, the level of concentration and awareness needed to survive let alone succeed in some enemy encounters is just obscene, I don’t want give away too much but Sekiro is very challenging I’m confident it will start conversations amongst  the Soulsborne community on which is the more challenging amongst Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro. I know I have mine.

Trust me, we both wondering how Imma deal with this thing…
