It’s crazy to think that a game that was first launched last year with no sort of hype around it blew up literally 2 months ago. Now I never saw the hype around Fortnite to be honest. However, when my friend suggested downloading Fortnite as it was free on the psn store, I thought why not ay? Its nice downloading free games and keeping them in your library for a rainy day.

However, that game collected dust because I literally didn’t think about having the time to play it. Until one day, my life changed …

I jumped on the for the first time and that shit is addictive. After the first couple of games, we won and was the last team standing.

Who would have thought that when the online mode became free, everyone would enjoy it this much. Fortnite has become so addictive that people have now started buying the full game and battle packs.

So why play fortnite?

I am a big fan of online gaming, especially when you get to play with your friends. I believe this game delivers a fun and action-packed battle mode that allows you and your friends to work tactfully together and battle your way to victory. The aim of the game is to simply be the last (wo)man or team standing before the storm ends you or somebody else ends you. You can alternate from being the assassin of your team to the architect. Its also a third-person shooter game for those who aren’t into FPS games.

Theres more…

Fortnite actually is a cross platform game too (PGUB is shaking right now). You are able to play with PC gamers and I was told that PC gamers find it easier playing Fortnite there than xbox of ps4. Fornite also recently launched a mobile app too. So for those that do not want to invest in a console, you got your phone. Although, I haven’t tried the app yet because I play on my console.

Overall, it’s a great game if you have a squad to play with. Personally, I would not recommend playing solo as you will get bored quite quickly. On topof that, the main game is free to download too(Battle royale).

Also, if you have any Fortnite gameplay and would like to share, drop an email and I would be more than happy to share your skills with the rest of the world.

Happy Fortnite and don’t get lost in the storm!
