“NNESAGA” (Pronounced as ‘nay-saga’) derives from my middle name and my love(obsession) with 80’s/90’s gaming, anime themes and aesthetics.
I started NNESAGA officially back in early 2015. Its been a journey but I still have a long way to go. I created NNESAGA as a space and platform for people from all different walks of life to come and share the same interests with myself and each other. I want people to express themselves without being judged off the bat because their interests are different from an average person. Whether you’re male or female, old, young, I want everyone to be in one hub and share their love for gaming, comics and anime with each other. I love connecting with people who share the same/similar interests as myself. I want others to connect with other people and feel free, confident and safe. I also host gaming events and other events that allow men and women to come together and celebrate being a cool ass nerd.
Being a woman in a predominate male industry, my goal is to be the voice of women who share the very same interests as men but be seen as an equal. I want to drop the stereotypes we as women face when it comes to gaming, comics and anime. I want to be the voice of the people that worry about what others will say because they think being weeb is “not cool”. I aim to knock down the stereotype of looking a certain way to be accepted as “geek” or to be accepted in general. I am creating something beyond what people would think is impossible, possible.
NNESAGA aims to deliver content all things gaming, comics and anime. Giving lovers of each community to come and be expressive with their views, discussions and thoughts. NNESAGA also aims to shift the culture and bring something new and dynamic to the community and the world.
So, to keep it short and sweet. Welcome to my world. Escape reality here with me.
